Project: Cyber-Physical Production Systems (Cypros) - increases the productivity and flexibility through the networking of intelligent systems in the factory Project duration: 15/09/2012 - 14/09/2015 In Cypros is a representative range of Cyber-Physical System modules for production and logistics systems created. Together with the underlying reference architecture, which is also being developed during the project, this enables the manufacturing industry in a significant increase in productivity and flexibility. Thus, the location Germany should be special not only enables secure than providers of such systems sustainable. The solutions are applied in several showcase factories in Germany, including at Wittenstein AG at the site of Fellbach. In a central part of the project is dedicated to the software4production GmbH in developing, implementing and evaluating an operational parallel simulation workbench from to hedge production plans in the value network and decision support for control alternatives. |

Green4SCM: Sustainable optimization of resource / energy consumption in value networks via a central service-oriented and web-based supply chain management-planning platform. Project duration: 01.05.2010 – 30.04.2012 In networked supply chains, one must often look beyond the confines of their own company out to raise the largest resource efficiency potential. With the "Supply Chain Management" (SCM) business processes are operationally coordinated and synchronized in value networks. In this project Green4SCM a central web-based planning platform has been designed to plan the use of resources in supply chains together and optimize. The project is carried out within the framework of the initiative "KMUinnovativ". The initiative supports small and medium-sized enterprises in developing innovative technologies and services for improved resource and energy efficiency. |

Distributed agent-based self-control of automated guided vehicle systems (FTS) Project duration: 01.07.2011 – 30.07.2013 Project homepage: www.fts-selbststeuerung.de So far, Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) are only partially independent. Tasks such as the allocation of transportation orders or plan routes so far been controlled by a central computer. This should now be final. The aim of the research project "FTS self control" is the development of an overall concept for a consistently decentralized control of a FTS. This concept is then to be evaluated at a predefined reference scenario using simulations. In this case, the agent system will compete against a central master control and prove his skills from an economic point of view (eg, on-time production, short lead times, high utilization or low stock). |
